We are gear heads at Liquid Rhythm; consequently, we have had the pleasure of playing and
breaking in several types of outdoor gear. In addition, we have earned the backing of several
sponsors that help us bring our students closer to having fun on the water.
To quote Greg Stamer of Kayak Vagabond “sponsorship can be a double-edged sword” due to the
strings of promotion. Luckily, we have been able to avoid the pitfalls of having sponsors. We are
fortunate to use gear from companies that we respect for their performance in or around the water.
We did not look to create a list of sponsors to brag, nor have we pursued companies to get free
stuff. Our only purpose is to answer the questions that our paddling friends are always asking us.
