The following kayaks work great for those students who do not have a Greenland skin on frame qajaq but would like to learn some Traditional
Kayak Paddling skills.
Each of these kayaks are of a low volume and low back style kayak.

There are also several other kayak designers and manufactures that have kayaks that work great with learning qajaq paddling techniques.

You do not have to own a sit in side kayak to benefit from the quiet glide of the Greenland paddle. Many sit on top kayakers are discovering the
Greenland paddle. The Greenland Qajaq paddle has several traits that all paddlers find attractive. The design of it reduces fatigue, decreases a
potential of developing tendonitis or tenosynovitis, and the style of usage is generally nice to the muscular-skeletal system
of the human body.
Ocean Kayak makes three sit on top kayaks that adapt well to the Qajaq forward stroke, sliding stroke, sweep, extended high brace, and
sculling. Ocean Kayak makes very stable kayaks. It is actually easy to do a head stand on them; consequently, it is near to impossible to roll
these kayaks. Unless you are Jeff Fabiszewski, Jeff can actually roll all three kayaks with the aid of thy braces. A video of this is coming soon.
