Traditional Greenland Kayak Paddles are for Everyone, course information
Course Fee
- This lecture class imparts knowledge about the history of kayaking and the relevance of that history to modern
disciplines in the sport, and emphasizes on effective boat control with a narrow-bladed paddle. There are several
traditional techniques that can enhance paddling performance of a kayak by the use of a traditional qajaq paddle.
The audience will learn about the quiet glide and how the Greenland paddle reduces fatigue, decreases a potential
of developing tendonitis or tenosynovitis, and is generally nice to the muscular-skeletal system of the human body.

Course Fee
- The $30 per audience member fee is payable upon booking of the date. This amount includes instruction,
resource materials, and a snack during the discussion.

kayak paddles, storm paddles and, single blade sea kayak & canoe paddles, in a wide variety of styles and options. There are other manufactures of Greenland
