Bryan Doehleman Bio
Born July 1974 in Cincinnati Ohio. He moved to Pinellas County Florida in 1981 with his parents and
brother Tom. Brian grew up on the beach and around the water. As a teenager he enjoyed going to
the beach with friends on the weekends to either skim board, surf or, playing football. After graduating
from high school in 1993 he started junior college. Initially Bryan majored in PreMed but later realized
that his true calling was for the emergency services. Bryan Doehleman obtained his EMT certification
in 1994 and in that same year he started working at St. Anthony’s Hospital as a transporter until
earning his certification. After working for a while and struggling with the idea of going back to school
he decided to join the Air Force as a Reserve to help pay for college and gain some training. The
training Bryan received qualified him to be an Aero Medical Evacuation technician. After the tragic
events of September 11 Bryan was called up to active duty and deployed to Southern Afghanistan.
While he was stationed there, Bryan assisted with and took care of the wounded American soldiers
and the people of Afghan. When he was finished with the military, Bryan joined the St Petersburg Fire
and Rescue as a Paramedic/firefighter.
