Coastal Kayak Basic Strokes and Rescues
    The ACA Coastal Kayak Basic Strokes and Rescues class is an intermediate kayak
    class that is designed to prepare paddlers to comfortably and safely paddle on protected
    flat water environments with conditions not to exceed 1-foot seas, 10 knot winds and be
    no more than 1/2 mile from shore.

What to Bring
    Bring your own paddle, sit on top or sit in side kayak, spray skirt, PFD, and towing gear.  
    Let us know if you need equipment.  Dress comfortably, bring layers appropriate to the
    day's weather, a towel, and a change of clothes.   Participants should bring a picnic lunch.  
    Other handy items include a water bottle, sun block, and a strap for glasses.

Course Fee
    The $100 course fee ($110 for non-ACA members) is payable upon registration.  This
    amount includes instruction, insurance, resource materials, and snacks and beverages
    during breaks.  It does not include all equipment; rental fees may apply for boats.
